A former Opelousas alderman and high school teacher is indicted on charges of child pornography.

A federal grand jury formally accused Larry Caillier II with getting a minor to engage in sexual activity so that he could produce child pornography. He's accused of creating and possessing child porn and using interstate commerce to coerce a minor into criminal sex acts.

If convicted, Caillier could face a minimum of 15 years in prison.
