One person severely injured, driver questioned after train and truck collide
BATON ROUGE- Police released more information about a train-truck collision that happened Monday evening.
The driver of a pick-up is being questioned; the passenger is in the hospital with severe injuries.
Police said the truck pulled into the path of the train, and the two smashed into each other near the intersection of South Choctaw and Airline Highway.
Police believe the driver of the pick-up did not see the train crossing South Choctaw.
