Two injured in crash involving ATV

BATON ROUGE - Police responded to a crash involving an ATV and another vehicle that sent two people to the hospital.

BRPD officers responded to the scene on Jones and Fairchild Streets around 7:15 p.m.

According to investigators, two people riding on the ATV were injured after they were struck by a vehicle. Officials add the ATV was at fault in the crash.

Sources tell WBRZ the patients received fractures but are stable. Officers say those patients was transported from the scene with non-life threatening injuries.

It is illegal to drive off-terrain vehicles on city streets. It is unclear if either driver was ticketed.
