One dead, another seriously injured after BR shooting
BATON ROUGE, La. - A Baton Rouge shooting around 1:30 a.m. Saturday left one man dead and another man seriously injured, according to BRPD Cpl. Tommy Stubbs.
It happened on the 6000 block of St. Katherine St.
Stubbs says 27-year-old Justin King was located at his residence suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. King was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
A 22-year-old was also shot and drove himself to a hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive, according to Stubbs.
Detectives have no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information relative to this investigation is urged to contact the Homicide Office at 389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
