One arrested in Glen Oaks shooting
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies arrested a man investigators said was involved in a deadly shooting in the Glen Oaks area of East Baton Rouge Thursday night.
Deputies accused Cedric Glasper, 24, of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Detectives said Glasper got into a fight with a man at 7350 Dan Drive Thursday evening, then left and came back with two other men. Deputies said Glasper fought with one of the men at the residence, and the two people with Glasper started shooting after one of the victims grabbed a stick.
Deputies said three men were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, and 23-year-old Corinthian Robertson later died from his injuries.
Investigators said one of the injured men identified Glasper, and he was arrested on murder charges. Deputies are still searching for a gold or pewter-colored Chevy Avalanche with heavy front-end damage that witnesses said one of the suspects fled the scene in.
