On to Omaha, Tigers defeat Oklahoma 11-1
BATON ROUGE - The Tiger baseball team is headed to the College World Series.
LSU defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 11-1 in the game 2 of the Baton Rouge Super Regionals. The Tigers offense was led by Jacoby Jones who finished the game 4 for 4 with 2 RBI's. That night at the plate included a solo home run in the 8th inning to give the Tigers a commanding 5-1 lead.
LSU then went on to score 6 more runs in the top of the 9th. They are headed to Omaha for the first time since 2009. Stay tuned to WBRZ for more on the Tigers run to Omaha.
