OMV now accepting payment in debit, credit, e-check form
BATON ROUGE - An official from the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles said residents of the state will now be able to pay their fees using debit cards, credit cards, and electronic checks.
Devices have already been installed at locations across the state in an effort to make payment more convenient, according to Stephen F. Campbell, OMV Commissioner.
Campbell said there is currently a $1.25 plus 1% percent of total charge convenience fee on all debit and credit card transactions and a flat $1 fee on all e-checks.
