LAFAYETTE - The Ragin Cajuns haven't been to the College World Series since 2000 - the Rebels haven't visited since 1972.

One of the teams, however, will punch their ticket in the showdown Monday night for the right to go to Omaha.

After falling behind 3-1 in the top of the fourth inning, ULL answered with two runs from the bats of Michael Strentz(groundout to first) and Ryan Leonards(two-out double to left center).

Ole Miss would take the 4-3 lead in the fifth inning on a passed ball, scoring Braxton Lee.

Auston Bousfield then gave the Reb's a 5-3 lead with a two-out double down the left field line, driving in Lee.

ULL responded with a RBI double that brought in Tyler Girouard, but Caleb Adams was thrown out at the plate trying to score from first base - a run that would have tied that game at 5.

A sac fly brought in JB Woodman for Ole Miss to stretch the lead to 6-4 in the top of the eighth.

In the final frame, Ole Miss' Holt Perdzock got to third and drove in three runs with one swing of the bat to blow the game open to 9-4.
