Oldest Medal of Honor recipient of World War II dies
The oldest Medal of Honor recipient from World War II has died in California at the age of 100. Retired Navy Lt. John Finn passed away on his ranch in Live Oak Springs where he had lived for the past 50 years. Finn earned the nation's highest military honor for valor duirng the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. He manned a machine gun and began firing at Japaneses planes from an exposed postion and suffered serious wounds.
