Okla. teacher accused of sex with student in teacher's lounge
WAYNOKA, Okla. - An Oklahoma teacher has been suspended with pay after admitting to having sex with a male student, including inside the school teacher's lounge.
An anonymous tip led investigators to question and arrest 32-year-old Daresa Poe Tuesday on charges of sexual battery and second-degree rape.
Investigators said she and the 18-year-old student have been meeting up since December, and both admitted to having sex in Daresa's home, in the student's vehicle and several times in the school teacher's lounge.
Oklahoma law says a student must be 21 to engage in a sexual relationship with a teacher.
Poe posted a $10,000 bond and is due back in court on Feb. 10.
