Man charged with murder after drug deal turned shooting in March

UPDATE: Police have arrested 29-year-old Dwayne Bradley in connection with the shooting.

According to BRPD, Bradley shot and killed 23-year-old Joel Fealing during a drug deal outside the Neighborhood Laundry on Greenwell Springs Road in March.

Police said Bradley was struck in the leg during the exchange and had been taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe the two exchanged fire while sitting in their vehicles outside the laundromat. 

Bradley is charged with first-degree murder.

BATON ROUGE - Officials say two people were shot in an incident on Greenwell Springs Road Wednesday night.

Sources tell WBRZ the shooting was reported before 9:30 p.m. on Greenwell Springs Road near Paulson Street.

Two victims were transported from the scene. One patient was in critical condition. Another was stable.
