An off-duty Terrebonne Parish deputy was killed while pressure washing a building in Cut Off.

Deputies were called to a report of electrocution at a building on La. Highway 3162.

46-year old Rodney Martin, of Dulac, was unresponsive in the bucket of a man-lift, near some power lines.

Martin was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
