Despite talk of her demise, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is staying put on ABC's "The View." Series co-creator Barbara Walters says that "we have no plans for Elisabeth to leave." She also denied reports Hasselbeck has lost favor for her conservative political stances, something Walters says "we value and appreciate." But Joy Behar is leaving the show in August. Behar was among the first co-hosts with Walters when the show began in 1997. Hasselbeck has been on "The View" for ten years along with Walters, Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
