UPDATE: The Madison Parish Sheriff's Office says everyone trapped inside a collapsed chemical plant near Tallulah has been rescued alive.

A tornado destroyed the plant and heavily damaged or destroyed dozens of houses.

State police say there's apparently a small nitrogen leak from a tank at the Complex Chemical Co. plant.

Hazardous materials workers from the State police and the Department of Environmental Quality are on site.
