NOPD: 19 people shot in New Orleans during second line parade
NEW ORLEANS- The New Orleans Police Department is now on the scene of a shooting near the intersection of Frenchmen and North Villere Streets where 19 people were shot during a second line parade.
Two of the victims were ten-year old children.
Investigators believe three people could be responsible for the shooting. At least 300 people were gathered at the intersection for the Mother's Day second line parade when shots rang out.
The conditions of the people who were hit is unknown at this time.
