ST. FRANCISVILLE - A state district judge has denied a motion to delay the trial of a 19-year-old accused of first-degree murder in the death of a young boy in 2010.

The trial for Trevor Reese is scheduled to begin March 18.

Reese is charged in the death of 8-year-old Jackson Attuso of Clinton.

The motion to delay the trial is similar to a motion to dismiss the indictment that Judge William G. Carmichael denied in September.
