No Louisiana-based drawings on Christmas Day
BATON ROUGE - Residents hoping to get lucky playing a Christmas Day lottery will only have the Powerball drawing.
Louisiana Lottery Corp. offices are closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Their policy is to not hold drawings on Christmas or Easter.
The multi-state Powerball is based in Orlanda, Fla.
Daily Pick 3 and Pick 4 games bought after the draw close Tuesday are good for Thursday's drawing. Easy 5 and Lotto tickets purchased after the draw close Dec. 21 are good for Saturday's drawing.
