No changes will be implemented at Baton Rouge City Court following a massive corruption investigation by the federal government.
The announcement comes the day after three more people plead guilty to taking bribes in exchange for the dismissals of cases. Among them is East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor Kip Holden's sister, Evelyn Holden.
Parish Attorney Mary Roper told News 2, the corruption occurred because of corrupt employees.
"This had nothing to do with a lack of safeguards or procedures," Roper said.
United States Attorney David Dugas said his office is in the process of interviewing the people who actually paid up to get their charges dismissed or fixed.
"We are evaluating the information collected with people who paid bribes," Dugas said.
As for the legitimate cases that were dropped in City Court, Roper said her office requested all of the records from the government.
"We are going to look at the particular cases to see if the situations need to be reviewed and rectified," Roper said.
So far, seven people have plead guilty to accepting bribes in exchange for the dismissals of cases. Sentencing dates haven't been set.
Dugas said he expects more indictments soon.

So basically what the are saying is this, if you paid money to get your charges dropped/altered and you community service wrote off you are home Scott free, due to the simple fact that they don't want to do their job.
