The airport saw 579,554 passengers in January, compared with 595,427 the previous January.

The number of passengers leaving on domestic flights dropped 2 percent.

The number of passengers arriving at the airport fell 3.4 percent.

Among domestic carriers, Southwest Airlines led all carriers with 182,872 passengers in January, up 3.5 percent from 176,655 a year ago.
