NJ voters weigh 2nd term for Gov. Christie
TRENTON, N.J. - Polls are open in New Jersey as voters decide who will lead the state.
Republican Gov. Chris Christie is seeking a second term against Democrat Barbara Buono. Under state law, he can't run for a third term.
But Christie could leave before the term is over to run for president.
Polls leading up to Election Day show Christie with strong support in the Democratic-leaning state.
Buono campaigned without the aid of big-name Democrats, and polls showed she suffered from poor name recognition.
Voters will also choose their legislative representatives. Democrats now control both the Senate and Assembly.
