ZACHARY - Veterinarians are taking care of nine puppies, found on a busy street, until they can find them a new home.

The dogs were rescued near Clinton and dropped off at the Animal Center. The dogs were stuffed inside an empty car seat and left on a highway. Construction workers made the discover and got the puppies out of harms way.
