Nine meth labs found at Denham Springs residence

DENHAM SPRINGS – Three people were arrested and a baby taken into custody today, after narcotics agents found nine meth labs in a Denham Springs residence.

Officers arrested 35-year-old Tanya Hayes, 28-year-old Joseph Tanner and 25-year-old James Hussey after a search of their residence just after midnight.

Officers seized the labs and up to 20 small bags with manufacture meth in them. A one-year-old boy found at the residence was also transported to a local hospital. After he is evaluated he’ll be released to the Office of Child Services.

All three suspects were booked into the Livingston Parish jail in suspicion of nine counts of operating a clandestine lab, manufacturing an illegal drug and cruelty to a juvenile. Tanner and Hussey also had outstanding warrants from other cases.
