New Roads to get seniors involved
NEW ROADS - City of New Roads Mayor Robert Myer has announced a Senior Citizens Employment Program.
It will give people 62-years and older the chance to earn more, use their skills and develop new ones, all while doing meaningful work in the city. Twelve people will be chosen to work up to 20 hours a week.
The five week program runs June 16th through July 18th. You must be a resident of New Roads to apply. If you are interested, contact City Hall at 225-638-5360.
