NEW ORLEANS - A little girl killed by a stray bullet was laid to rest today in New Orleans.

Keira Holmes would have turned 2 years old Thursday.

New Orleans police say the child was shot while playing in the yard of her home in the 3300 block of Erato Street.

Police say the shooters were firing at another man walking nearby.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with that crime.
