New Burger King restaurant in Helsinki has sauna inside
HELSINKI, Finland - In wacky fast food news, a Finnish Burger King recently opened with a 15-person sauna installed inside the restaurant.
Also included inside of the Helsinki-based fast food restaurant is a shower room, locker room and media lounge with TV and gaming facilities, making the establishment a veritable home away from home for customers. And yes, food will be served in the sauna.
It’s not a huge surprise that the franchise would make such a move considering that there is one sauna to every three people in Finland, according to CNN. More modest customers can cover themselves with Burger King branded towels and robes while in the spa. Don’t lose those towels though as the store charges roughly $35 USD to replace them.
If you’re planning a birthday party and happen to be in Finland, the BK sauna can be rented out for around $283 for three hours of heat-induced relaxation.
