New BRCC chancellor named
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Community College now has a new chancellor.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors has selected Andrea Lewis Miller as the new head of the institution.
Miller is the former chancellor of Sowela Technical Community College in Lake Charles.
The decision was made in a unanimous vote Wednesday.
Miller says she is looking forward to working with the BRCC community to take the college to another level.
Former chancellor Myrtle Dorsey left the post earlier this year for the chancellor position at St. Louis Community College.
Miller could begin serving in her new role as early as January.
