Nelson mascot returned after kidnapping
HENDERSON, NEVADA- Singer Willie Nelson's prized stuffed armadillo is back after it was kidnapped during a show in Las Vegas.
The animal named Ol' Dillo vanished while members of the audience greeted Nelson after a concert in Vegas Monday night.
Nelson's crew called the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort in a panic from the road in the middle of the night and asked security to review surveillance video after they discovered the mascot missing.
The next day a man drove to the resort and handed a shoebox to the Westin marketing director with instructions to return it to Nelson.
Ol' Dillo is now on the way back to Nelson and his band.
