A Jefferson Parish man was arrested for attempted murder after authorities say he threatened his neighbor with a gun and tried to run over him with a car after the two men argued over chickens.

Johnny Do, of Terrytown is accused of attacking Anthony Najera with a revolver and trying to run over Najera with a car.

Najera was not injured.
