BATON ROUGE - Getting back into shape after you've had kids is hard and often not done. In Wednesday's Expert Advice segment Dr. Anthony Stephens answers a viewer's question about a "mommy makeover".
Stephens says the phrase is commonly used to market a series of plastic surgery options that could help get your body back to where it was before you had kids.
But he says getting a "mommy makeover" isn't for everyone. In order for the surgeries to work best for you, Dr. Stephens said you must meet certain criteria: you must be done breastfeeding, you must be the weight you were before you got pregnant, and finally you must also be healthy and a non-smoker.
During the interview Dr. Stephens talks about what to expect from the surgery, recovery time, and how much it will cost. If you have more questions about the mommy makeover or if you are interested in getting the procedure, click here.
