Naughty nanny behind bars
LONG ISLAND, NY - A New York nanny was arrested after investigators say she left the toddler she was watching in the car while she went in a store to commit a crime.
Witnesses called police after they saw Christine Nunes lock the girl she cares for in a minivan with the windows rolled up while she went inside a Target. Police say she shoplifted while she was inside.
The girl was in the hot van for 35 minutes. She was brought to a nearby hospital where she was treated for dehydration.
