National Guard soldiers return to La.
RESERVE - Members of a National Guard unit which lost one of its members while deployed to Afghanistan arrived back in Louisiana Thursday.
Members of the 1084th Transportation Company, 165th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion, 139th Regional Support Group arrived on a bus at the Guard center based in Reserve around 2 p.m.
In May, the Department of Defense said Spc. Christopher Drake died after a rocket-propelled grenade hit his vehicle while he was serving with the company.
