N.O. woman gets unusual Barbara Walters tribute
NEW ORLEANS - Barbara Walters is preparing to ride off into retirement after more than 50 years in broadcasting, but her legacy will live on thanks to a New Orleans woman.
Lizz Dodd got a tattoo of Walters face on her leg! She says that it is a symbol of empowerment.
"She went after her stories like a man, got it done and proved that women could do it too," Dodd explained. "She really had an impact on my generation."
Walters will make her final appearance on "The View" today. She still plans to serve as a producer for the show that she created.
