Mystery Michigan plane arrives in Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge- The Les Miles to Michigan rumors continue to grow by the hour, leaving LSU fans on the edge of their seats. Just two days after a lear jet with the University of Michigan logo arrived in Baton Rouge, it returned today. At 2:11 this afternoon, the jet landed in Baton Rouge after a 1 hr 45 min flight from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. Two passengers were seen getting off the plane.
The plane belongs to Richard Rogel, a high ranking official at Michigan who donated 22 million dollars to the school in 2004. There is no word on whether Rogel was on the plane.
Michigan athletic director David Brandon has his own private jet thanks to his days as CEO at Domino's. His jet was spotted at Love Field in Dallas last night. Les Miles is expected to speak in Dallas on Tuesday for the American Football Coaches Association.
WBRZ Sports 2 will have much more on the bizarre jet arrival at 5:30 PM.
