BAYOU CORNE - The source of the bubbles popping up at Bayou Corne is still a mystery.

Assumption parish officials and scientists met with concerned residents Thursday evening to answer questions and to inform the public about the seismic monitoring devices that will be installed in the area.

Some residents say they felt tremors and scientists are trying to find ways to explain both the tremors and the bubbles.
