Mysterious semi hit by train
WALKER- Police responded to what is described as a minor train collision Friday night.
Police said an 18-wheeler, loaded with pipes, did not clear the railroad crossing before a train collided into the load. The truck driver apparently did not know his trailer was struck, and kept driving.
Police were attempting to locate the truck as of this post.
The train stopped and the engineer reported the incident to authorities.
The collision happened along Highway 190 and Sunland Drive, the same location where a woman was killed in a train crash last year.
