The Louisiana Art and Science Museum is among the beneficiaries of a $904,159 grant from NASA to produce new planetarium programs. The grant will be spent over the next three years.
The money will pay for a spacecraft simulator to be developed. It will also provide software to be used on the web and space-themed informational kiosks.
The grant is part of a $7 million program from NASA's Competitive Program for Science Museums and Planetariums.
