With seven men behind bars, closure came to some families of the victims in a string of shootings in Baton Rouge.
Police believe Michael Louding shot and killed Darryl Milton two months ago. Patricia Milton is still coping with the loss of her son.
"I sat on this porch for three days waiting on that Cadillac to park and come to this house," said Milton. "It hurts."
Milton's niece said her uncle Darryl was an up-and-coming rapper. He was known on stage as "Bleek." Family members tell News 2 he and Louding ran in the same circle of friends - a group of rappers trying to make it big.
To Milton's mom, Louding was practically a member of the family.
"The boy was at my son's funeral. He hugged and kissed me. This boy came to my house. This boy used to call my children his sisters," Milton said.
Police arrested Louding in connection with six murders and trying to kill two others. His trial date has not been set.
