BATON ROUGE - Multiple lane closures following a wreck involving as many as four cars brought I-10 East past College Drive to a near standstill Tuesday evening as commute traffic picked up.

All lanes were back open as of 4:30 p.m., but not before three miles of bumper-to-bumper traffic stretched across the Mississippi River Bridge and to the LA 415 exit at Lobdell.
