Gonzales- A week long investigation by the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office has landed multiple people behind bars.

During a search of Craig Encalade Jr.'s home in Gonzales, detectives placed him under arrest after they found heroin in Encalade's pocket.

Detectives also found more heroin and marijuana, along with prescription pills, a loaded handgun, and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

Along with Encalade, Amy Hughes, Teya Young and Randall Millet were in the home and were also arrested.

All four suspects are booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on multiple drug possession charges.
