KENNER - State police have closed Interstate 10 westbound near the Bonnet Carre Spillway as they investigate a fatal accident.

Trooper Melissa Matey says two people died in the three-vehicle accident.

Traffic is being diverted Friday to Interstate 310 South.

Additional details about the crash were not immediately available.
