BATON ROUGE – City-parish officials are making supplies available to parish residents until further notice.

Points of Distribution, or POD, centers will open at Miracle Place Church, Healing Place Church, First Pentecostal Church and the Greenwell Springs Library.  The National Guard will distribute MREs, water and ice.  Soldiers will load supplies into waiting vehicles.

Livingston Parish opened similar centers earlier in the week.
