Motorcyclist dies in evening wreck
BATON ROUGE - Police identified a biker who died overnight when his motorcycle hit another vehicle and wrecked in Baton Rouge.
A Baton Rouge Police spokesperson said Travis Castle, 34, of Baker died in the wreck on North 17th and Choctaw Drive.
Investigators said Castle was heading west on Choctaw, possibly speeding, when another vehicle changed lanes and the two collided. Police said Castle was thrown from his bike, and died at the scene.
Police said the driver of the car had minor injuries, and was taken to a local hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
