Mother, son trapped after car crashes into office
BATON ROUGE - Two people were trapped by a vehicle which crashed through the front doors of a dentist office on Bluebonnet Blvd. Tuesday morning.
The St. George Fire Department and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office responded to the scene of the accident that happened in the 4400 block of Bluebonnet around 11 a.m.
Investigators said an elderly woman driving the car hit the gas instead of the brake, sending the vehicle through the office's front door.
A mother and her son were trapped under an aquarium in the dentist's office, and rescuers had to get them safely out. Authorities said the victims' injuries were not life-threatening.
