Holly Brewer, whose 18-month-old son died after being beaten by her boyfriend last year, has pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact to second-degree cruelty to a juvenile.

Brewer was arrested after her son, John Thomas Anthony Brewer, died after suffering severe head trauma and bruising in the beating.

Jeffrey Paul Denby, Brewer's boyfriend, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Brewer's sentencing is set for Aug. 26.
