This Thursday Morning starts out dry with mostly cloudy skies and a few showers. It is warm and muggy with temperatures in the upper 60s.
Be sure to take your umbrella with you as you head out the door today. A disturbance will move out of Texas into Louisiana and at the same time deep tropical moisture will be moving up from the Southeast Gulf of Mexico. Combine those two together and you will get scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms over Baton Rouge with some heavy rain. High temperatures will be held down a few degrees thanks to the rain as they only climb into the mid 80s.
Some showers will linger across Southeast Louisiana tonight with mostly cloudy skies. It will be warm and humid with lows in the upper 60s.
I have all the details on the rain and storm expected today on 2une In right now!
