Mosquito plane flies in Baton Rouge tonight
BATON ROUGE - A mosquito plane will be circling parts of the city and unincorporated areas Wednesday night.
The mosquito control agency announced aerial spraying in Baker, North Baton Rouge, and parts of Southdowns and Kenilworth - in that area, the plane will spray above Perkins Road to Kenilworth.
Recently, the state announced there were three cases of mosquito-transmitted West Nile virus in the state. Among them, one person in the Capital Area. They are sick with the neuroinvasive strain.
