Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are moving through the Baton Rouge area this morning. They are ahead and along a strong cold front. Some of the storms could be strong.  Otherwise, it is partly cloudy with temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to the mid 70s.

The cold front will move into the Gulf of Mexico this afternoon, and the rain/storms will come to an end. We will become mostly sunny and pleasant. High temperatures will only climb to around 80.

Expect some MUCH COOLER weather tonight! We will have clear skies with low temperatures near 50. Areas north and east of Baton Rouge will likely dip into the upper 40s. BRRRR!
