It is a mild and somewhat muggy morning across the Capital City with patchy dense fog. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9 AM for all of the Baton Rouge to Hammond to South Mississippi areas. Watch out for low visibilities less than 1/4 mile at times. Temperatures are in the lower to mid 60s.
This afternoon will be just like it was on Tuesday - shorts weather! An area of high pressure remains located over the Carolinas and this is pumping in plenty of Gulf Moisture. We will be partly cloudy, warm and a little more humid with high temperatures in the mid 80s.
Due to all the moisture that lingers over the area at night, we will have more patchy dense fog tonight. Otherwise, it will be clear and mild with lows in the mid 60s.
