We begin this Wednesday Morning with partly cloudy skies and patchy dense fog across the Baton Rouge area. Visibilities could be less than 1/4 mile at times. The NWS has issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 9 AM today. Please use caution as you travel to work and school today. It is a mild start to the day too with temperatures in the mid 50s.
Once the fog goes away we will be left with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Then late this afternoon and into the evening hours isolated showers will start moving back into town. This is from an area of low pressure that is forming over Texas now and will move over Louisiana on Thursday. It is going to be a warm afternoon with high temperatures in the lower 70s.
The showers and a few thunderstorms will become more numerous tonight. Some heavy rain will be possible. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
