More stores say no to Black Thursday shopping
BATON ROUGE - Black Friday is just a month away. Some stores plan to open their doors early on Thanksgiving, while others are just saying no.
Costco, GameStop and Nordstorm all announced plans to give employees the holiday off to spend with family.
The trend to open on Thanksgiving peaked last year, when K-Mart opened at 6:00 a.m. Thanksgiving morning. Wal-Mart opened 6:00 p.m.
Most stores still plan to open early Friday morning.
